Hey first post here! Seeing as there's no definitive guide on how to make the Acerbis Fender fit on the WR250X I decided to make one! I've done this twice now and with a little bit of time this is how you can make the fender fit right. Hope this helps some people out!
Items Needed:
Acerbis Supermoto Fender
10 mm socket or wrench
Tape Measure
Sharpie
Dremel/Cutting Wheel/Saw
Sandpaper 400 grit (optional)
(2) Zip Ties
Step 1: Remove stock front fender from bike. This is held on by 4 10mm bolts underneath. The headlight is held into the fender by 2 rubber grommets, just pull down to release them and the fender will disconnect.
Step 2: Line up Acerbis sizing sticker onto Acerbis Supermoto fender. The WR sizing is different than the chart but it helps to keep things straight.
Step 3: I decided to place the front bolts where the fender starts rise so that it would fit flush. The front bolts are 2 and 3/16 inches apart. Go to the 29mm line on the chart and straight up to where the fender begins to rise and mark your drill point on both the left and right sides.
Step 4: The rear bolts are 4.5 inches back from the from the bolts. Bust out your tape measure and go back 4.5” from each front bolt and stay along the 29mm line on the sizing chart. These marks should be on the steepest part of the fender.
Step 5: The rear cut line lines up perfectly with the Acerbis corner markers for the measurement sticker. Draw a line directly across the bottom of these. This is where the lower triple clamp hangs down as opposed to being flat like most bikes.
Step 6: From the bottom cut line measure 3 1/8 inch up to create the front cut line.
Step 6 (Alternate) : From the front hole marks measure back 5/8 inch towards the center and draw a line across.
Step 7: Measure 15mm down the side from each cut line and draw a line connecting the two from front to back. This will give sufficient space for the bottom of the triple clamp.
Step 9: Cut along all the guiding lines you drew in the previous steps to make the notch for the triple clamp. This is very easy with a dremel or cutting wheel but can be done with handheld saws or a heavy duty knife.
Step 10: Sand down the edges of your cut for a better look.
Step 11: Drill out the bolt holes to a 5mm diameter. Alternately if you don’t have a drill you can use a screw, screwdriver, and file.
Step 12: Attach the front of the Acerbis fender to the bike re using 2 of the bolts. Tighten until the bolts are flush with the top of the mount.
Step 13: Attach the rear using the two zip ties. Alternately you can use longer bolts but zip ties work just fine.
And you're done!

Note: You can drill two more holes for the headlight mounts if you want but it doesn't work as well as the OEM fender.
