I think they will utilize the outside existing handguard screw, but I don't know for sure yet.

They are due to arrive Wednesday so I'll have photographic evidence for you by next weekend.

Got my Q4 slip-on and my new mirrors last night.

The damn remnants of the hurricane are making it so shitty outside I just can't bring myself to do much with the stuff right now.
Cold, damp, rainy, and windy.

I was hoping to get some good video of sound from stock pipe, then Q4.
Plus some good pictures of pipe diameters and installation issues if they crop up.

The Q4 is so slick looking. Even in bubble wrap. Motokid Mods - Page 2 61865

No more Mickey Mouse ears.

Powermadd Handguard Mirrors. Required drilling two holes. yes...one of the Zeta decals twisted with the mirror screw.

Not a concern of mine. I bet a picked up at least one mile per hour top speed without the stock mirrors. Motokid Mods - Page 2 93746

Hey I get it now
I think those mirrors are a must have

Do they give you decent coverage or do you just see your elbows

Tomorrow is maiden voyage. We've been hammered this past week with hurricane remnants.
Wet roads covered in wet leaves.

Sunshine and dry is the forecast for tomorrow.

I'll post my thoughts. The mirrors have a small amount of adjustment. They rotate on a beveled base so you can
try to get as much rear view as possible.

They will be practical if they are actually real-world usable.

I'll know tomorrow.

At $26.00 they are worth the experiment to be sure. Motokid Mods - Page 2 61865

I have them, and love them. They don't vibrate, good field of vision, convex 360* adjustable lens. Mine are mounted on their handguards, had some second thoughts as they look like they'll break if you go down. Took a couple of dirt naps, and they have yet to break.

2 full tanks of gas. About 160 miles later....

I am a happy guy.

The PowerMadd mirrors are fine. Not great, but they work. My eyes are not good enough to know if the car behind me is a cop or anything like that, but I can see that there's a car there.

So do the mirrors fold in? Or can they fold in? Or are they stationary?
Cause I can see them snaping of doing some offroad riding if you were to dump it.
Also what did you guys pay for your Zeta Handgaurds(there the one that you can get a blinker for right)? Cause i see them listed on ebay for $135 but just cant come to bring myslef to spend that much on handgaurds.

I bought the following from Wheeling Cycle Supply (should be here this week):

ZE72-0003 Armor Handguard Titanium (7/8") Bend $79.95
ZC41-2300 Carbon hand guards $129.95
ZE72-3991 XC Protector Replacement Flashers Orange $35.95

The Armor Handguard Titanium item is the metal part of the handguards and is aluminum with a titanium finish (left & right pieces plus mounting hardware).
The Carbon hand guards are what is normally the plastic protector but these are carbon fiber; I'm trying to minimize weight on the handlebar ends.
The Flashers are turn signals; they fit into the carbon fiber pieces.

I already have some Pro Taper SE handlebars (7/8").

Wheeling is at: Wheeling Cycle Supply

Forgot to mention. If you don't like the look or expense of carbon fiber, Wheeling also sells the plastic protector with flashers:
ZE72-3404 XC Protector with Flasher Blue $56.95.

Thus, the cabon fiber setup costs $245.85 and the plastic setup costs $136.90. I got free shipping at Wheeling.

Mirrors do not fold. I think there are some from PowerMadd that do, but the ones I got don't. I was on a tight budget. Motokid Mods - Page 2 911463

I got my Zeta's with flashers from Wheeling also.

The taillamp is off of the 01 era R1.....they did it as kind of a throw back to that bike....as the frame is based of the R1...they thought they might complete an idea...but apparently they didn't get that far. (not hating on this bike AT all. I love mine. Just saying they didn't incorporate more R1 items/parts into the design.)*****PLEASE CORRECT ME IF WRONG

I know a little about "Compliance"
The feds dictate a certain square inch of surface area for a tail light, height off the ground and distance apart of winkers
They can change the shape but theres not much they can do with size
They use that same tail light everywhere, even on a bunch of snowmobiles
