Hello team.
Went to start the bike this morning for work and no electrics - again.
Quick check of the fuses showd the 10 amp had blown - again.
Any folks had the 10 amp fuse blow repeatedly?
All was working fine over the weekend, not ridden, just checking the CO and idle speed on the taco.

Regards,
flo

Yep...turned up a wire that had managed to touch the frame and shorted out. Try going over what you can (hopefully you won't have to rip the whole slab of plastics off, but you might) to see if you can find it. I found mine in behind the headlight cluster where it had touched the steering head. 10 amp fuse.......again 724854

Thank you SheWolf.
A month or so before I fiddled with the back light I had changed bars and therefore touched the switches.
Maybe I'll start there.

Cheers,

I had the same problem after using the wire that used to power the license plate lamp to power an accesory plug. Sure enough I had grounded out the wire without knowing it. Solved the problem by using one of the unused fuse spaces to power the plug.

Sobering to think that this 10 amp fuse not only powers the lighting but also the ignition........

This is an old thread, but my bike has now blown the 10 amp fuse twice.

The funny thing is after letting the bike sit for a while, I can replace the fuse and it starts up again.
