There is a washer looking thing that holds the face of the headlight into the headlight assembly from behind. It looks kind of like a lock washer but it isn't crimped in. One of them fell off of my bike. What is it called and where can I buy it?

Nothing like that in the headlight I remember, can you post a picture of the general area?
It is a WR250R/X right? There are some spring nuts about the diameter of a pencil eraser
that hold the upper and lower portions of the front cowl together.

I'm on my phone right now so it is kind of a pia to upload pictures but that sounds like it. Where would I buy such a thing? Should the local dealer have it in stock?

Not just picking on you but in general for all posters: Information, information, information.

I know, I'm a Cranky Old Bastard, but geez, how about helping us (on the forum) help you. List your year/make/model. Most dealers have a feature on their website for parts lookup, that's how I found the part #. How is anybody on the forum supposed to know #1 Who is your local dealer?  #2 What do they stock? And jeez, you're on the phone right now so it's a "PIA" to clarify?? Sorry. I'm all better now. Welcome to the forum.
