I wasn't quite happy with it's on road abilities. It is capable, just not mt fav. got proper dirt tyres (tires for the americans..lol) now.
changed the gearing. now it is my off-road toy only

Hi nin01 I have just changed my gearing from 13/50 (the mod I had done when I bought it new in 2012 to a 13/48. The 50 rear just cost me too much in top end speed and fuel usage, plus I was reving it too hard on the tracks when chasing pace. What did you go to and how has it been?

I use mine in and around town but mostly track work. I should have bought a 450 but though my days were numbered in terms of hard enduro but in fact my track time is right up there. Does not matter as the wrr250 fits nicely into the not as good as the great riders but better than the hacks niche and will be a great bike when I leave enduro and stick to smooth trails.... Hoping that is another tem years or so Lol.
