I just got the Q4 last night but instead of putting it on I went mountain biking. If all goes well I'll get the Yoshi off tonight and do a little comparison.

At first look it feels about the same. The Q4 comes with an extra length of pipe and I'm going off my memory of about two weeks ago when I had the Yoshi off to repack. Hopefully tonight I can swap it over and get a better comparison.

I used my highly calibrated arm scale and they felt just about the same. That includes the midpipe for each.

My iPhone dB meter sucked but according to my ears it's much quieter at idle and quieter through half throttle or so. That's in neutral sitting in my driveway. I'm going to give the silicone time to cure before taking it out on the road for a proper test. If I can run it around town without needing ear plugs I'm calling it a winner.

I wanter the lightest free flow muffler possible. Well the yoshi seems lighter than stock yet i still think the q4 seemed lighter when i held one. Anyway im very happy with the rs4 performance and style wise

Can i use the yoshi rs4 muffler with the fmf power bomb header?

Here is the big guy:

How does your Yoshi midpipe attach to the header? Mine was clamped which leads me to believe it could fit a larger diameter pipe than stock, possibly with some finagling. The FMF headers use a larger diameter pipe that mates up with their exhausts. The Q4 came with a reducer that you have to use if you're keeping the stock header.

In summary: maybe.

Hope this helps.

Hey there

I've also been looking around to see if anyone ever used an RS4 with an aftermarket header like a FMF PB or MB.

Did you ever try it ?   does it fit ?

nice looking bike!
