Yeah, the WR-250R will be lots better for that kind of trail. Less weight is an amazing thing.
That top pic looks a lot like much of the trails around here, where you never have to worry about not getting your daily dose of important minerals. I'd kill to have more trails with some real dirt like in the bottom pic. :) | |

| first impressions:
not nearly as capable on the freeway as the 6fiddy, but,
the bike is bone stock,
i have ordered some parts to make it more friendly for what i want to do to it,
hopefully opening up the intake, FMF programmer and gutting the stock zorst will get er dun!
(top speed indicated 79 mph, sixth gear, had to downshift to accelerate!)
i'm thinking about taking it on a "road" trip this spring and i'm hoping for a slightly higher cruising speed! | |

| Those are good ideas.
Stock, the bike has what's called an airbox flapper which makes the bike breathe through a TT-R125-sized airbox inlet whenever you open the throttle. :) Details on getting rid of it are in the Mods forum. | |
