Hi All, Just bought a new 2020, WR 250 R, have put on bark busters, Bash plate and off road tyres. Would like to do gearing, still trying to work out what, mainly off road use.
Thinking 14-50 as I can go 13-50 without needing a new chain.
Do I need to only change the front sprocket guard if I change to a 14-50, or do I need to change the back guard as well?
Do I need to go to a 14 front sprocket to prevent the swing arm wear issue that I see in other comments or can I just do a 13-47 ?

Thanks in advance.

You can grind down the front sprocket so it fits with a 14 CS sprocket.
