| Hey guys...my greetings from Greece. I have a question because i am thinking serious to buy this bike. I had a R6 2001... i sold it and now i use my little scooter to commute. But its 50cc and its weak...although it helps a lot in trafic. what is my situation? I want to buy wr250r used. I have driven it and i was amazed! I want to start enduro. But i have no money for another vehicle. So i must think wise! i want the bike for eberyday use ( commuting, trafic, all weather conditions, for work) is it good for every day use? what about short trips on asphalt with passenger behind? can i put some luggage on it? thanx | |

| Hey and welcome to the pack! The WR is a great all around bike, you can ride it anywhere, every day, and you can ride 2-up easily enough on pavement. I've done it numerous times; as long as you don't do it on rough off-road type terrain with jumps and stuff, it's fine. As for luggage, it will carry a fair deal. Most of the riders I've seen use the soft luggage from Wolfman, Giant Loop, DirtBagz or their own gear. The bike handles it well. I have the full Wolfman Enduro series luggage for mine, and I love it. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| with 2 people on it, is it comfortable for short trips? would you recomend it for example for driving it 100 miles to go on a short trip with a passenger on it?? and at which speed will you drive it comfortable on road? problems with air? sorry for my questions but i am confused! i want it bad...but i am thinking a lot of things cause i will use it as my everyday vehicle to do everything! short trips with wife, work....and to start enduro of course. But if it not meet my needs i must look at another motorcycle. Money is a problem and if i make a bad choice this will be a very very big problem for me. | |

| Done it, and longer. Speed was up around 70 mph most of the trip. Comfort level is ok for me, even 2-up. Longest we did was 250 miles, had a stop along the way to take a drink out of a creek and watch some deer out in a field while eating sandwiches. It was enjoyable. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| I took the 'other half' for a couple of rides - power to weight ratio was 'compromised', & we only went a couple of miles. Was OK on asphalt, but would think twice about off-road... As for commuting: this thing is such good fun, I often take the 'scenic route' to work, which means getting up half an hour earlier!!!! Also, riding position allows you to see over & way ahead of other traffic, brakes & handling are awsome. | |
