Used 08 price

Hi, I'm looking at a used 08 in Minnesota and was wondering what you guys thinks a good price, they have it at $3900 apprx $4100 after taxes are done. It looks almost brand new and only has 715 miles looks mostly road riden it's been sitting in there show room for about a year and have lowered it from 5800 to 4800 now at 3900... Any opinions?? I can see you guys know your stuff! Thanks a lot

I paid about 4800 for a new in crate '08 last year. Yours would barely be broken in.

That is close to what I paid for mine with more miles on the clock.
Good price for pure stock, gets better if it has any mods at all.

That is pretty much on the money. I just got my 08 for $4100 brand new but I have only seen my bike go that low. Just got lucky I guess.

I found myself lucky with 6500$ for a brand new X 2009.

The lowest I've seen around here was at 5900$ and I missed it.

I spoke with a guy who recieved some stats about sales of dual purpose bikes in Canada. The customs are getting less sales and the adventure bikes are on an upstroke of almost 35%. I don't know if the same phenomena is going to happen in the States. If it does we'll see a pressure for higher prices. I doubt that this will happen to 250cc bikes though.

I just bought an '08 for $3800 that had the flatland racing skidplate, aftermarket knobby's, FMF exhaust and powerbomb header, probillet rack, and 2670 miles. Every time I went to purchase one, someone would sweep in and get it before me......but I was quick enough on this one. If you just wait it out and continue to look, it will pop up, but the way these bikes are going, you need to be quick. Now I'm just waiting for it to be delivered.

well i guess the place decided to sell it to someone else even with my down payment.... made me really happy. now back to the grueling search
