09 WR250X Hard Starting

anyone every have problems getting there bike started after riding for an hr or 2 ?
couple times this weekend it would not restart for about 20-30 minutes.
any idea's ? no codes flashing on the dash board ?

Being an 09...I can't see it being the fuel pump, but don't quote me on that. That would certainly be a first if that was the issue.

What is the build date? The Japanese recall covered all the bikes built up to November of '08. I'll bet some '09's are in there.

well im not sure about it , i realized later that i don't think it was running when it wouldn't start.
but each time afterwards we would listen and it always ran at least when it would start.
the 2 times it didn't start i just don't know.

Look at the side of the head stock and the build date is on the information plaque stuck there. I'd be real interested to know if you have a bike built outside of the recall period with a bad fuel pump.

If the motor is super hot it tends to need a little twist of gas while you press the ignition, mine did that a couple of times at the gas station after a severe flogging. But mine always restarts right away ??? not 20 or 30 mins.
