AT LONG LAST ! The WR250FXi lives

Wouldn't you be trading off a much better suspension?

You would be trading for a much bigger motor into a street legal chassis. I think that is what he is after.

Bingo... ...and not just street legal, but a more off-road adaptable platform (not a 400 lb plus) pound platform.

You can fix the suspension components to be compatible.

I think I would mess my shorts if I had a WR450R!

Well when Yamaha comes out with the WR450R or if I come across a good deal on a 450 motor to stuff into my WR I will order the shorts...

I was thinking about this today after a day of riding the trails on my 2 stroke. God I wish it had the magic button. I wonder how difficult it would be to fit wr250f forks onto our frames? That would give much better front suspension and also open the door for cheap wheels.
