Steering Headset Bearings

Mine was put together like crap brand new.
Had to replace my neck bearings within the first year.
Funky noise I had been hearing went away and everything felt great.

Then one day I heard a noise... OMG not again.
Turned out to be the cable holder thing on the neck was rubbing my left fork at almost full lock.....
AHHH, neck bearings still good.

Sorry to hear it went that way for ya'. What was the cause of the bearing failures or do you know?

No lube.

This is one of those things that I need to do this winter along with the rear suspension. I am moving into a house soon that has a garage so maybe I will have a chance to.
