Suspension settings? Empty
PostSubject: Suspension settings?   Suspension settings? EmptySun Apr 17, 2011 11:06 pm

Hello! cheers

Since getting my 2011 wr250r 3 weeks ago I think the rear shock may need some adjustment. The front seems good but I noticed today on some rough high speed trails that rocks or logs will make the rear kick out. One time it almost bounced me off my foot pegs lol. I weigh 150 pounds, should I touch the rear shock adjustments at all?

Set the rear spring preload to achieve 3.5 inches of sag while you are sitting on the bike in the normal riding position.
Beyond that, you basically crank the rebound damping up to the maximum, set the compression damping to where it feels best to you, and hope it is good enough to satisfy you.
