wobble

Are those D606 tires you have on the front?? The D606 front caused a wobble on my KLR at hiway speeds. It may do the same with the added weight of the tank. On the KLR I switched to a MT 21 front and this cleared up the wobbles.

Hope you figgure out how to kill the wobble before I get my 4.7!

I'm guessing you meant to reply instead of start a new thread. Anyhow, I'm running D606's with my 4.8 and have no wobble issues. Even took it to 85 for a few miles just for testing purposes. No problems.

Oops. Your right. I did mean to reply. Someone on 4.8 tanl thread reported having head shake at hiway speed with their new tank on there.
