Stock muffler on a Powerbomb header?

Is there a decent way to get my stock muffler to fit onto my powerbomb header?
The gasket makes it too small, without it , there ain't much there.

Is your stock header damaged?

In his sig he says he has the power core 4... So maybe something happened to that.

Wonder if he's having issues with some kind of inspection or noise criteria?

There are some group rides I've heard of, that frown on loud bikes. So, I thought if i popped the stocker on for that day, I wouldnt stick out, like a loud, sore thumb.

So you need a way to neck the larger diameter FmF header down to the smaller diameter of the stock muffler.

A transition piece.

I know of no such thing, but perhaps it could be fabricated for not a huge sum of money.

Or - you could look into a Q4 exhaust.

What is the fit like when you simply slip the stock muffler over the FMF header without the gasket?

the woven metal gasket, in the stocker, seems in there well. probably need to destroy it to remove it..?
It appears, that if removed it just may fit. The "socket" on the stocker has slits cut in it from factory...would definitely need to clamp it somehow.
Maybe a clamp around a gasket, if it was on the outside of the connection?
Anywho, trying to come up with ideas for what I have.

I probably should get a db dawg too.
