PostSubject: Problem with Scott's Damper/Sub mount risers...   Problem with Scott's Damper/Sub mount risers... EmptyThu Jul 07, 2011 12:46 pm

Ok, so I got in on that group buy a few months ago and got one of the Scott's steering dampers with the "sub mount" (kit comes with risers). Well, all that was fine, but it moved the bars closer to me.

While riding while standing up I feel like I'm constantly going to fall backward. I wind up pulling "up" HARD on the bars all day offroad. I either need the pegs further back (impossible) or the bars further forward. Anyone else fighting this? I really wore out my forearms on a "busy" OHV track for a day...if the bars were farther away I wouldn't have had that much muscle fatigue.

Thanks!
