I need a set of soft bags for a couple days worth of offroading. I'm thinking DirtBagz plus a dry bag across the top. My question is this:

How well do they work ? Do the minimalist mounting bars (included with the bags) keep everything secure and off the exhaust can ?
The mounting system looks kind of lightweight to me. As a reference my Versys has SU racks, which are overkill, but WAY robust.

I'm not too worried about waterproof; I can handle that with internal plastic bags. I just want them to be there at days end.....
