Finally got my skidplate installed. Used some Saftey Step rubber strips to kill the sound. Works great. No increase in sound at all.

I just bought the the same set up from ACE hardware , thanks for the idea. My 2012 is being set up by the dealer as I speak should be done by noon!

Timzim take a small round file and elongate the two holes in the front of the Flatland about 1/8" ( towards the top) to make up for the tickness of the rubber pads.
