12 - 48. What size chain???

I am running a 12-43 right now with the stock chain. My question is.... I think I want to get either a 47 or 48t sprocket. #1 how many links will I have to get on my new chain and #2 is that a good combo? I do mostly woods, power lines and train tracks. Some road, no highway.

I am running 12/47 and like it. Lots of pull for bush riding. Can still hit 70mph, fast enough for trails :)  I run a 110 chain. If you go with 12/48 I am unsure if 110 chain would be long...

I have 13/48 and 112 links puts axle right in center of adjustment slot.

If I were you i'd order nothing shorter than 112 and then cut to desired length if that's just a touch too long.

im running 13/48 and went with 116 link and had to cut 4 links off (112 just like motokid)... also it will have a enough room for my 14t front and i believe a 12t

I've also got a 12/48 with a 112 link chain. This post is redundant as you already have your answer. Seems not alot of people run a 12/48. It's great off road. I'm in 2nd and 3rd most of the time. 1rst gear is almost low enough to walk next to.
