So apparently I needed another distraction for the WR project. Couldn't resist an adventure bike. So I picked up a Husqvarna 650 Terra last Friday. About 140 miles so far. I like it! Lots of power, light, good brakes, sexy. Felt weird to get a bike that isn't a Yamaha. It's been a while since that happened. September 2007 as a matter of fact.

Here's a quick video of riding around.

And here are some pics.

Nah, I just bought it. Motorcycle addictions follow no logical or holiday schedule.

And a hot rod BMW at that!

Looks like another major hole into which you can pour money!

Happy Farkling!

...I've been intrigued by this bike. Seems like a good off the shelf choice for a general dualsport.
I'm really curious about how it will do in the rough stuff. I had a TE610 that had great stock suspension.
Only thing that holds me back outside of how much I like the WR (and money) is that it's assembled in China...

I plan on beating the shit out of it so we will see how the workers and robots did during the assembly. Very happy
