PostSubject: battery question   battery question EmptyThu Jan 31, 2013 3:01 pm

i want to hook up the battery tender jr. pig tails to the battery on my wr so I can just leave the quick connect end hanging out for easier charging in off season, rather than pulling off sideplate and using alligator clamps.my question is, is this a negative or positive grounded battery? How should I hook up the leads? Pos to pos. and neg to frame? Thanks.

I hooked mine up as color-coded.

Red to Red
Black to Black

Been working perfectly for years now.

It's a negative ground. Rather than going to frame, I just put negative right to battery.
