I replied to this very question on your other post of it.
Wrong message board, honestly.
Since the WR-250R and WR-250X are not the same machine as any model year of a WR-250F, you won't be typing to many other WR-250F riders.
For just one example of the differences, the WR-250R and X have fuel injection.
So, you really have to specifically be aware of the letters R, X, and F after the WR-250 part, as we're talking two completely different designs.
Thank some psychos on some Yamaha Motor Co. sales and marketing team for making that easy to understand right off the bat - even Yamaha motorcycle dealer salesmen don't all know about the differences. ;)
