Help me decide which exhaust. Empty
PostSubject: Help me decide which exhaust.   Help me decide which exhaust. EmptyMon Apr 01, 2013 10:27 am

Help me decide which slip on I should get. I am looking at the FMF,HMF,and LEO VINCE. Is one better then the other? Really kinda leaning towards he HMF cause its a black can and I like the look of it the best.

Also what is the stock gearing on the front for the wr250x, I am thinking about droping one tooth in the front.

Thanks

13/42 is stock on X.

If you like the looks of one exhaust go with it.

Best is a subjective term, and I've yet to see any real dyno data that proves one exhaust is "better" than the other.

Thanks, I couldnt find anything on if one exhaust was better then the other. Also thanks for the gearing answer. MY buddy just bought a x and it was gear down one tooth in the front and I really liked it.

Just an FYI - changing the gearing will change how your speedometer reads.

You'll either need a GPS or a speedo-correction device to adjust the factory speedometer.

Yamaha really had their collective heads up their asses when they designed that part of our bikes.

Thankfully, others have had the same problem as you. Simple read, follow instructions, and you'll be posting pictures in no time. If you are lazy like me, just use the built in picture hosting feature of this forum. the instructions to that are in the last post of this thread:
