 EXUP mod question

Do you need to do the EXUP mod if your replacing the exhaust but not the mid pipe?

The EXUP valve is in the muffler section.

If you replace canister/muffler you won't have an EXUP anymore.

You don't NEED to buy anything regarding the EXUP.

If you replace the exhaust canister you can simply unhook the EXUP wires and be done.

If you remove the servo motor without doing some form of mod you will get a code. If you simply unhook the cables and leave the motor, as I did, you get nothing because as far as the bike knows nothing is different. I think the motor is 1.5+ish lbs so if you are concerned about weight then consider the mods. Otherwise just ride.
