TIA A response from FMF: Hello Galen, Both the Powerbomb and Megabomb are great headers. The difference is that a Megabomb is more bottom end power and the Powerbomb is more for top end. So if you are doing rides that have tight turns I would go with a Megabomb and if you are doing more straight line stuff I would go with a Powerbomb. But really its up to you were you want the power to be at. Both header give you about 2-3 horsepower. If you have further questions please call us direct or you can reach me at my ext 248. | 2-3 horsepower just from the header????? On a wr250r/x???? I would like to see proof. I am a skeptic. That's roughly 10% more power from about 10 inches of pipe. Can it be possible? _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| yeah, but come on.....10% gain from just the header? I can see 10% gain from header, cannister/exhaust, and efi programmer.... But not from just the header. Still a skeptic. _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| The megabomb looks like it would burn your leg or pants. | |

| Actually... it does both. This weekend, my PowerBomb burned my pants and my friend's arm. It all depends on the situation.
Kinda thinking I should have went with the MegaBomb now. Bottom end power is what the WRR needs most.

Yeah, I thought so. Without a heat shield, the stock header will burn my pants. I ride mostly offroad and learned to hold onto the bike more with my legs. This is correct form but it can be tough on pants.

I have the powerbomb on mine and no burning problems either. Well I did slightly melt a hard plastic piece on my backpack from hanging it off the right mirror while parked. Always hang it from the left mirror now.

| Do you guys not grip the bike with your knees at all? Do your legs not slide back and forth at all? I have pant/shoe melting signs on both the PowerBomb and the very and of the exhaust pipe, right before it goes into the muffler. Maybe I'm a more "wild" rider :) | |
