| Hi Skierd and Toaadwr:
I hope to see your two WR's up on the header shot soon. I like the WR in the water in front of the bridge as it has an "Adventure" feel to it.
The WR in front of the Coal seam or whatever it is sticking out of the mountain looks like it belongs on another planet! Really cool.

| They are awesome (once you figure out how to mount themso they dont get in your knees...) and not too pricy!
was like 115$ for the pair.

| Is the access to their contents pretty quick? (ie when they're on the bike.)
I'm looking for something to carry raingear on multi-day trips. I really like the Giant Loop Cayote bag, except for access during the ride.

| I also have these panniers. I mount them a little lower and further to the front at a slight angle. That way my knees are completely free.
Like I told Med on his blog these panniers also block the wind and rain on the legs.
The access is like any roll top bag. The size adjust to the content. I would recommend to put things like clothes in them so it will maximise the amount of stuff they hold. The pair holds a good 20 litres.
They're part of the expedition dry series from Wolfman.

| Yeah to access, 2 clips and roll it. It's also clips separated from what holds them mounted so it's very convinient for like camera, towels, lunch, clothes etc. | |

| A few miles away from the northern house, near the headwaters of the Bull. xcel likes to refer to this as my "hovel". Nice hovel. I think I'll keep it... | |

| Hi All: Some more of the X... The 10 WR250X in the Pacific... The 10 WR250X on the McKenzie Pass in Oregon with two of the Three Sister's in the background... I think? The 10 WR250X just east of Red Lodge, MT. The 10 WR250X just East of Yellowstone. I have no idea what mountain peak this is but maybe somebody else does from the following pic? Wayne | |

| Just a comment on olddirt's picture next to what is known as "Big Rock" in Lander's CA.
That rock is the largest free-standing monolith in North America.
They actually traced it's origin to the same circumferential 50 square mile explosion approximately 3M years ago in the caldera that formed the valley S.E. of Mammoth Lakes (between "Tom's Place" and "Mammoth Lakes" from the hwy 395 out all the way to the White Mountains).
BTW... There is some GREAT riding out that way. The only problem is the U.S. Marines own it for live fire practice missions (which is cool to watch at night).
The rest of the pics are also beautiful !
