Been looking, lurking and lusting for a couple of years and yesterday picked up an '09 with 2835 miles on the clock. First ride this morning and I am a happy guy. I live next door to the Samta Monica Mountains and have bicycled and motorcycles through them for years. The WR250X felt as flickable as my bicycle only the tires are a lot stickier, have a whole lot more contact patch and there is that motor thing. Tortured some dude in a heavily modified VW GTI on one of the tighter canyon roads in the Santa Monicas who tried every trick he had to drop me. I did not even feel like I was pushing the bike and this only my first day with it. Holy crap!
Bike has a Spiral saddle, sliders, lowering link, GYTR exhaust, hand guards, LED turns and a tail tidy as farkles.
