Last ride I took I had a stick rip my radiator hose. I had enough hose left to reattach it but now need a new one. I was looking and found the DRC Radiator Hose Kits. these things are $60.00.

I was thinking that it was a little pricey for some hose.
I then found the OEM part. The hose I need is $3.44
I understand that the DRC hose kit contains a couple more pieces, but why would it be so expensive?
Is anyone running the DRC radiator hoses? Are they that much stronger than the original ones that come on our bikes?
thoughts??

I don't have the DRC hoses, but I have seen a lot of WRR's & X's with them. It's like the colored engine caps. I think most people switch them for bling factor.

The DRC hoses are silicone as opposed to the oem rubber ones. Silicon hoses don't expand as much under head and pressure. That is why silicone hoses are used in turbo/intercooler piping on cars. I imagine that they are slightly more durable than rubber ones as well.

Thanks for the input.
Im not looking for much bling on the bike, and the price difference for color, and slightly more strength, I get a few of the OEM ones.
