MORE desolate roads

Borrowed a Tom-Tom years ago, which led me down very primitive, old, forgotten paths and ancient dirt roads when I selected paved road avoidance... LOVED THAT !!!
Problem is I bought a Garmin Montana, that DOES NOT compare in that regard.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?  All I want is for my new GPS to be able to sniff out any and all routes, no matter how perilous, old, or seldom traveled.
