| That silver color above is the "titanium silver" colur and it is not a perfect match to the OEM silver, the new "mirror sparkle silver' I have is damn near the same color. | |

| Got my case saver and guard and they are really slick and nicely executed. Service was great too. In regards to the guard though I have an issue that others may run into. I want to give feedback and let others know if they fall into this case as well. My issue is that I adjusted my gear shift lever up a couple of splines so I can get my toe under it easier with with MX boots on. Call me a clutz but at least with my current boots I cannot get my toe under the stock position especially if I have my weight back for go traction. This guard is cut too close to allow upshifts when the toe lever above the level of the foot peg. Does anyone know of a shift lever that has a dip down in it instead of straight like the stock one? I think the Driven one is straight like stock is it not? PS. Rode Tahuya ORV near Belfair WA this weekend. With the downpour we had the end of last week there was a mini river crossing every 20 feet. A real challenge and lots of fun. Only caught one submerged root that tossed me which I thought was a pretty good outcome for me | |

| Update: I just ordered some pivot pegz. If they allow me to get my toe under the shifter with the shifter adjusted level to the peg I will have some F5 pegs for sale and be able to put the guard back on.
Not clear to me if the pivot pegs are going to fold up with our mount the way it is though. Any comments?
Can you tell I am trying to get everything I want done before the weather gets nice up here in the northwest?

| I'm also going to be getting a Driven Racing shifter. Ivan got me onto that. It comes away from the case a bit more not to mention it pivots better too. I saw one on a WRF. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| Installed the Pivot Pegz and the Driven shift lever. The Driven shifter they shipped me when I ordered the part for WR250R(X) does not seem to be the same one they picture. The one in the pic seems to have a dip in it where the one that I received seems more straight like the stock one. Anyway I installed it with the toe grip level with the foot peg like stock which allowed me to put Ivan's cover on with the case saver. Ivan! I like it. The stock is just going to mix chain lube and dirt. I only got to ride briefly with my MX boots on before I dropped the bike off with John at Moto Pro to setup my suspension but it seems that this is going to work for me. The pivot pegz seem a little weird at first but I am getting used to them and the Driven shifter definitely feels better when shifting all around. Moto Pro had to order my custom springs so the bike will be there a while but I can't wait to get it back! My riding friend has a KLX351 with Moto Pro work and he says it is the best thing he has done for his bike.

| Sandman, I received my parts yesterday and I couldn't be more happy. I was thinkining that only the spocket cover was going to be powder coated black but to my suprise the cover, the bolt heads, and the case saver was powder coated. The hand written note and jolly ranchers were the icing on the cake. I will always try to support small businesses like yours vs. big companies. thanks ,Jason | |

| On the fence for getting a case saver? Here's what I found when I swapped front sprockets a few days ago: Musta had a rock or something stuck in there at some point, or from the chain skip I had when I let the bastard get too loose. | |

Jury was out on the pivot pegz until I got used to them having passed the "feels weird stage" but I really like them now. I wear AlpineStar Tec 3 on the rocky trails and Sidi Discovery almost everywhere else. Now I can shift well with both.

| I'm thinking that would be a perfectly normal discovery for the exact reasons you described.
It's only a couple/few mm off the chain itself isn't it ?

| Have you thought about incorporating the Yamaha Logo into the design? Maybe a solid cover like this (or with some holes around the logo) | |

| I'm thinking that with a solid design you're getting away from the idea of letting debris that accumulates having a way to escape. You'd be amazed how much shit gets caught behind those things. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| The new Freedom guard is ready to sell and I will post uip some pics in a day or so of the new design, the benifits and how it looks on the bike. I hope it works even better than the old design does. | |
