I just registered.

I bought a 2009 WR250x about a month and a half ago and I'm just loving it!!!! droooool

Here's a pic

Problem is I get a loss of power right around the 3/4 throttle in every gear.

I do have some mods:
- FMF power programmer
- FMF Q4
- FMF megabomb
- AIS, EXUP and servo removed, Flapper glued
- gearing 13/42

...and I'm pretty much at sea level (live on Vancouver Island)

I'm wondering if I'm too rich in the higher throttle zone?????

Maybe should I take the door off the airbox just to test and see if it just need more oxygen?

What setting(s) on the PP would deal with being too rich at 3/4 throttle?

I have tried many settings but I still get the same bog at 3/4 throttle.

Which bugs me because I know how much this make and model loves the high RPM's!!!!!!

I am currently running 3-3-3-8-6-8

I have used the following settings with no effect on the bog out issue:

3 - 2.5 - 8 - 1 - 1.5 - 3.5 (the settings the bike had when I bought it used)
3 - 4 - 1 - 8 - 4 - 4.5 (factory)
3 - 5.5 - .5 - 8 - 4 - 4.5 (Steveakus at ThumperTalk)
3 - 3 - 3 - 8 - 8 - 8
...and some other ones that I can't remember....

Any thoughts, help, suggestions, insights, etc. will be so appreciated! bow

At 3/4 throttle your getting into the wide open throttle settings.
Next to no one adds fuel at wide open throttle on these bikes unless you have a big bore kit, they're a touch rich there stock.

I'd drop the 3rd setting (which is the full throttle one) down to .5 keeping the rest the same and try it.

I run mine at 3-2-.5-8-6-4 but its a 2013 fmf programmer, if yours is from 2009 you will need the second setting on 5 to equal mine on 2, they changed in 2010 or 2011.

3 - 5.5 - .5 - 8 - 4 - 4.5 (Steveakus at ThumperTalk) These setting should've ran pretty good except for a cutout while cruising caused by the 5th one not being on 6 or higher. scratch

You gain a couple of hp power by running without the air box door so I'd ditch it. wink
