2008 wrX,
3, 4, 1, 8, 4, 4.5
air temp 60-80F, 0-600ft elevation
flapper, ais delete, air box drilled, K&n
yoshi pipe, stock header
using wiseco programmer

when in low rpm cruising (~32mph in 3rd, stock gearing), if i get on throttle SOMETIMES (more than 50%) it bogs down and almost cuts out for a split second and then comes back hard. I've tried a lot of different settings, what I have now pulls the best above ~4k, but down low it seems lacking torque and has that weird cut out issue. dunno

any advice? thanks! dunno

Did you try raising the 5th setting? Put it on 6 or 8.
If its too low it causes that along with cut outs while cruising.

Having the programmer too rich on acceleration (the 2nd setting) will also cause a loss of power at low rpm with bogs when gassing it hard too.
If raising the 5th setting doesn't fix it try dropping the 2nd setting down to 2 or 3.

Those are the only settings active when getting on the gas in the situation your getting bogs, so focus on tuning them. thumb

I have fmf for 2 years now and 1.5, 2, 1, 8, 4.5, 4 this is best for me all around, if racing I change the 3rd # to 1.5

Open airbox about 1.5" x 3.5" hole, uni filter, Mod. yzf slipon to the exhaust up pipe, sea level, plus i adjusted exup to close a little more then stock, gained a lot of low end and top end. Personally with these mods the motors plenty of power.
