Hey,
Whats the best balance to the bike?
I heard that its too tall in the back.
If i lower it by the shock using the clevis will it has better balance?
If i lower it by both shock and fork will it handle better?
Or leaving at stock height gives the best balance?

By my thinking if you lower the back lower the front the same, if not it changes the rake and trail of the front, im sure yamaha has spent a lot of bucks in engineering how the bike handles, but thats just my opinion.

I think the same, but people claim its unbalanced stock and rear is higher than needed.

I think it handles great, even on tar with knobbies..

Well this is the reason the suspension is adjustable to a degree.

If you don't like the way the bike handles then make a change.  If you like it less than you did before then make the change in the opposite direction and try again.

First thing I would do is to make sure you have your sag set on the bike before you start making too many changes.

I ran mine with the rear lowered 3/4 of an inch and stock height front for 2 years.
It handled better in sand and was a little more stable at speed in dirt, it still cornered fine, it didn't push the front in corners. I never noticed any difference on pavement.

I raised it back up to gain clearance under my skid plate as I was getting hung up more than my buds bikes. It turns a touch quicker now that's the only thing I notice until I'm in sand then the fronts wants to dig in and stop while cornering easier than it did before.

This bike handles fine either way, if I rode in sand a lot I'd keep the rear lowered but I don't spend too much time in sand.

The down side to lowering the rear is slower turn in and possible pushing of the front tire in dirt corners.

Try it with the rear lowered and see if it corners to your liking, if it doesn't lower the front until it does. thumb

Sag is set correctly, clickers too after alot of trial and error.

was just wondering what is the effect of lowering just the rear.

I just lowered mine to the max in rear, 1" I guess. I lowered my forks a half inch, didn't feel right. Lowered them 3/4", felt better but still doesn't weave as easily as it used to.

I ride a lot of single track with fast friends, gassers, ktm and husky 2 stroke and I did a lot of testing with the wr250r and it likes the rear high and the front low for it to turn and not push.
