I think these will suit your requirements Oh yea, these will be good! Add it to the list...I need to find a bag of money.

Well I supose if we had any cows down here they might get sucked up, but I think you are thinking of tornados not hurricanes. Big difference. Tornados are only in one spot for a few minutes tops. Hurricanes can take all day to pass by. And trust me, they are NOT cool. Don't you guys get typhons over there? Same thing as a hurricane.

- I put IMS pro series pegs on last year and I must say I couldn't believe how much more stable I feel when standing up now. The brake side peg hits when folded up here too. These are WR250F pegs/springs.
Where does it hit? The arm or the bolt? It hits the arm. No damage or issues yet. But I haven't really crashed it hard on that side yet either.

| I just installed a set of Fastway F5 pegs, fit nice and dont hit the brake pedal. These things are big and feel alot more stable, they also allow you to adjust hiegth and tilt of the pegs, I monted mine in the low position with just a little bit of tilt. Only complaint is that they dont fold up as far as stock. | |

| Id like to post pics. What the best way to do this? Do I have to use a pic host site or can I post directly to the forum? | |

| 1. Go to ImageShack 2. Browse (1)... Choose whether to resize (2)... and Upload (3) 3. When uploading is done, you will be redirected to the following page... normally what I do is just copy the Direct Link (4)... short cut key to use: Ctrl + C 4. Now, when you are posting a reply.. you should be able to see panel below... Click on the highlighted icon, and paste (Ctrl + V) the direct link to the pop up box... after clicking the "OK", the image should appear in the box below That should be it | |

| Photobucket is another image hosting site that works pretty good. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| d2moto.com has wide foot pegs part #FP001 for WRFs that fit WR250R/X cost 14.95pr & are 3.1" long & 2" wide . You need Yamaha WRF Foot Peg Springs part # 90508-2815-00 & 90508-2818-00 $1.32 each . Set of wide pegs for under $18 ! . | |

- From the picture, it seems that the peg actually restricts the folding?
Its actually the built in stop on the pegs(the little wedge shaped part near the spring). It hits the bolt that attaches the bracket to the frame. You could grind it down to allow more folding but on the right side it cant really fold up anymore without the peg hitting the brake pedal.

When I took a fall last year, I created a ding in the brake arm even with the stock peg (I only noticed that last week) maybe restricting the movement of the right peg is a good idea

| I purchased the Moose Pro Pegs and which have a .5" rear set back and I like the position very much. Problem is that they do not come with springs and the stock springs don't work. Called Dennis Kirk and they were not aware of the fitment problem so am asking you guys/gals, has anyone found springs that might work with these pegs?

| WRT to pegs not fully folding up, it could create problems for you. I have Roc stompa pegs on my 990 Adventure and the brake side does not fold up very far. This is what happened in a low speed get off..... Now granted, this is a 500 lb. bike, but it gives you an idea of the possible problem it could cause. I had to TIG the peg mount back together and add a reinforcement plate as well. It might not be a big problem on the much lighter WRR though..... |

| That was on a slow dump? Damn, that is incredible!! It would be nice to have a fully folding peg for this thing. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| Its a trade off really. The big pegs give you so much more control over the bike, and way more comfortable to stand up all day long. Not saying this would happen to the WRR. You have to remember, that 990 is one big assed bike. I just put that up as something that could possibly happen.
I have Fastways on my 450 and have had some quite spectacular high speed get offs and the peg mount did not break. |
