Does anyone have any input in changing the front sprocket for more lower end power? Any input appreciated

Yes....not the best option as it CAN result in the chain chewing through the chain guard and possibly into your swingarm as some have reported. The better option is a larger rear sprocket of your choice.

Change the rear to a 47 (stock tires) and you'll be happier. You can put a 12 tooth on the front to check the overall ratio, but I wouldn't leave it on there. I ran one for 500 miles to test the overall feel of it.
