Weep hole on right cylinder side

I have an aparant weep hole on the right hand side of the cylinder. It was suggested that this could be a drain hole for the spark plug. I have a small amount of oil leaking from this hole. Wr is a 12 model, 5000 Mls. New to me not sure why oil is slowly seeping from there
Ideas??

Is your plug in tight?

Remove the fuel tank to get a good look at the valve cover gasket.
Check for a leak there as the gasket literally encircles the spark plug well.

Must have been built up residue, after the first couple of rides, it has stopped..
