Subject: How to lift rear wheel to service the chain Sun Jul 01, 2018 9:44 pm
I just wanted to quickly lift the rear wheel enough to service the chain without having to pull the bike out of the garage and set it up on my lift stand.
This is what I came up with. Harbor Freight pry bar and a jack stand.
Works great!

My solution was to get a stand that I can use in the field too.

Field expedient method is an appropriately sized 2x2 to prop up the swingarm after tipping onto the kickstand. Also used to put under rear tire or kickstand for off-camber parking.
