broke off wires to fuel tank: Need help

Just bought a used WR250R, 2011 and was installing a IMS 4.5 gallon tank that came in a box with the used bike.  I let the stock tank fall as I was struggling with getting it disconnected.  The green and red wires pulled out of the connection on the bottom of the stock tank.  Based on how the wires were positioned, I think the green one (green with white stripe) goes toward the front of the bike and the red (red with black stripe) goes toward the rear.  The two black wires stayed connected.  I have come up with a solution to connect everything once I am saved by this forum.  I removed the four metal slide on connectors and soldered them to wires that I will splice in.  It looks like buying a new wire harness would be a major, perhaps impossible job.  I have the service manual but it does not identify the colors of the wires (that i can see anyway).  

This is my first post.  I also have a 2012 Christini 450DS that I am upgrading with their fuel injection kit so it is not running either.

Yes, thank you that picture shows me what I need to know.  I also found what I think will work to replace the connector thanks to this forum, the Sumitomo DL090-4 FP .  The last page is the best schematic, I had not made it that far in the manual.  I will wire it up for now and replace the connector later to get a water proof seal.

Update: It works! now I must bleed the front brake, it was low on fluid when I bought it.
