| Did you see the new 1 gallon Rotopax tank coming out? I would like to know the dimensions of it. I'm trying to figure out if I want to mount it on the top rack, side rack or just get a new tank. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...56#post9066656 | |

| I really like the look of that tank and I'm sure it will be a less expensive option than getting an whole new tank. I think I'll wait a few weeks to see this new tank before i make a decision. Rotopax seems like an inexpensive solution to our limited range. | |

I like this solution: you just empty two pet bottles with coke at the gasstation and fill them up and slide them in.
As a bonus it will also be more comfortable for your butt for the long hauls!
I've ordered one to try it out. Will report back.

| Wow! I can't imagine having that much weight back there. Boing! Boing! Boing!
For the sake of all those who are setting up their WRR for "Adveture" touring, I hope someone actually comes out with a larger tank.

| I have the one torpedo bottle on the side and then carry 3 more in a back pack. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

What is a torpedo bottle and how much gas do they hold? I want to carry only about 1.5 liters for when I screw up between gas stops...

| I would like to know if someone tried bladders in tank panniers. I figured that the weight is at the same place as a bigger tank plus the fact that when I don't need the extra I can just remove it.
I would also like to know if there is some vapors coming through the bladder that could contaminate other bagages or the panniers themselves.
Is it a wrong way of thinking ?

I have the 2.1 gal. fuel blivet from JustGasTanks. Hideous yellow color... they used to be red. I just strap it down on the tail, roll it up all nice and tight when it's empty and/or when I don't need it. Works for me; I already have a Wolfman Lite tank bag and don't want any more stuff flopping around up in the cockpit.
