2015 wr250r ECU

Hi group,
I was so excited to buy my lightly used 2015  wr with only 500 miles on it. Well I rode it for a few weeks and thought I should get all the fluids and filter changed. Half a mile from the shop my bike stalled. Wouldn't start, pushed it to the shop. They have had it for 4 weeks now and say its the ECU(2GB-8591A-00-00) and another relay(5VK-81950-41-00). They don't actually know which parts is bad this is only what it has been narrowed down to. Parts are on backorder for months even year. suggestions?

Have you tried eBay to see if an ECU is available there?

Of course once they get the ECU and swap it, they will realise it's not the ECU after all.
