Over on ADV.  A mechanical journey that started with a bit of an act of kindness to help out a novice rider on their first motorcycle returning from a trip to South America and back.  Even for those with about zero mechanical skills like me, a great thread of problem solving and the mechanical work involved to revive a dead engine and other mechanical oopies - all of which apparently started out with really poor and neglected negligence.
