Adjusting Carb Empty
PostSubject: Adjusting Carb   Adjusting Carb EmptyWed Sep 27, 2023 11:59 am

Hey guys,

I have a 2004 Wr250f. I've been trying to adjust the carb on my bike. If I don't have the choke on it will die, unless I have this gauge (see picture) turned all the way to the right. (I'm blanking on the name of the gauge haha), but if it's turned all the way to the right the bike will ride like I'm giving it gas but I'm not giving it gas.

I had snapped off the tip of an aftermarket air/fuel adjuster in the carb but thought I got it all out. I might not have. Could that be what's causing this issue?

This site is dedicated to the WR250R, a street-legal, fuel injected dual sport bike that Yamaha first introduced in 2008, which shares almost nothing with the WR250F. As such, I doubt anyone on this forum will be able to answer your question.

Have you tried Thumpertalk, where they have a forum dedicated to the WR250F?
