| I was wondering if someone show me how they got their handguards installed... I got acerbis but on the clutch side when I shift out the clutch and gauge cluster the clutch will not go all the way in. Pictures please!!!! | |

| Well, you have a couple options. 1. See if you can either move your lever down or in a little. 2. Cut the "ball" off the end of the shift lever and shorten the lever a little. You should also round it off a little so its not a sharp edge. | |

| i did opt. 2. I wanted a little shorter levers, anyway, & the longer levers hit my acerbis hand guards. No problem, now. I cut off the little balls (aztom said i castrated the levers!), ground the edges smooth & they work great with 1 or 2 fingers. | |

| That was the option I went with on mine as well when I put my Enduro Engineering guards on. I cut my bike's left and right balls off! I didn't have much inward sliding room for anything anyway because I trimmed my bars down a little too far when I got them. | |

| I'm using Moose mini guards on mine, also have ProTaper SE in Yamaha mini bend though (28.5" wide). They *barely* clear the levers, but I have them set slightly below the actual buster so its not an issue. | |

| When I first for my Acerbis guards I managed to get them on and have both levers work properly without modifying either. After dropping the bike a bunch of times this can no longer happen. I lost one of the bolts sometime last year so I temporarily removed the guards. I got to the hardware store today and put them back on. Tomorrow I plan on cutting the ends off. I can post some pictures of you would like to see them. | |

Yes there am. Do a Google image search on [ handguards wr250r ] 637 very nice pictures, even a few Acerbis among the lot. Just a regular search with the same terms shows an Acerbis install as the second item in the list (of 16,000+). Acerbis handguards installation <-- linky

| Food for thought, cuttin the ends off you levers in some states will get you inspection rejected. And at some events you may not make tec,the balls are for safety. So you dont drive the lever into yourself or someone else. guess how i know this. | |

| Zeta fit very well from start to finish. This may not help you but it might someone else. Sounds like a little cutting would help a lot. | |
