you can also get the acerbis locking cap which fits ims threads just fine.
the cap is self vented w/ no tube sticking up, so you kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone.

Definitely - & a little thrown in! The fires are bad enough - a collection of flat tires is just nasty.

Wet shot rock is brutal on tires. So is finding out your jack won't lift the truck high enuf to get the wheel off.

Ooo.... Very sucky. We have to be careful with the adjustment of the jack on the UniMoG so that once we have the flat OFF we can lift high enough to get the inflated tire ON. Doable if you're careful though.

Will try to get hold of a natural/translucent IMS 3 gal. tank. Since this would require an international order, I will need to check for local supplier over here or whatever, but maybe IMS would like to notice. I am sure there are others willing to buy as well. The small IMS tank is _exactly_ what I have been searching for right from the beginning.

Color isn't particularly important to me. Whatever's available should work.

in the other thread for this tank there were pictures posted with the left side shroud but not the right side (radiator side) So stupid question but it utilizes both shrouds right? also is it for sure a true 3.0 gallon or the 2.8 that i have seen posted?
