Big Bend, TX National Park

In the winter of 09 I spend a wk or so w/ friends riding Big Bend.
It's in west TX & a very well kept secret for DS riders.
This is a little pix sharing of the ride.
There was a surprise snowing & temps as low as 17F but we were tough......sort of.[img][/img][img][/img]

There was an xt225 which made a good showing of itself but had no power & light suspension for the rider of size.

These two bike have trailed together for thousands of good miles but the xt had to work it self to near death keeping up & taking on the rough roads was later to prove near fatal for the rider.

The park has hundreds of out of the way buildings & areas to visit, some w/ grim history.

Nice... Looks like the SoCal desert.
