| * RE: Message from TM Designworks Online Store 3:55 PM Reply ▼ * order@tmdesignworks.com * To 'Kevin Callahan' From: TM Designworks (order@tmdesignworks.com) Sent: Sun 9/12/10 3:55 PM At the moment we have no plans to make a part for this bike. I think the bike is discontinued already from Yamaha but they have 08 bikes left. *sigh. Moving on to another company i guess. | |

| Yamaha has no intention to discontinue this bike, it's been way too hot a seller. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| I'm thinking that maybe they're hoping to sway ppl to buy another breed of bike that they carry more parts for. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| A 450 would be good as long as it wasn't a 4piggy | |

| fwiw i sent tm designworks an email requesting a slide n guide kit for the wr250r. i urge others to do the same. they make a good product, i think they just need a little push to put parts into production. i'd really like a better slider option than oem.
go to their website, and request one! you're going to need one someday!

| I have just got back from the UK Motorcycle Show at the National Exhibition Centre near Birmingham and was disappointed to see that there was no WR250R on the Yamaha stand. Even Suzuki had its dinosaur DRZ400e on display and Yam had brought many 125s (yzf, xt, wr, xt-x) but our favourite 250 was nowhere to be seen. Shame. | |

Fingers are crossed it's in the middle of a makeover. If not, "KTM 690 SMC" here i come. I'll just throw the dirt setup back on the WRR and make it a trail only.

| The 690SMC is such a joy to behold. I tried one back to back with a Yam 660 on a lovely sunny day and there was just no comparison. Taut, fast, beautiful. I almost didn't give it back; I felt like leaving the 660 there and walking home. Annoyingly, up until that point I felt it was a fine bike but thankfully someone from Poland came and bought it off me shortly afterwards.
Me and my WR250R have been perfectly happy ever since.

go to their website, and request one! you're going to need one someday! Yeah, I sent them an email asking if they had one for the WR2R also. They just replied "no sir". I followed that up telling that if they want to sell a bunch of chain sliders that making ones for the WR2R would certainly do it! I would love to have an option other than OE on the chain slider. Even if I have to remove the swingarm to put one on there from TM Designworks, that would be okay. It would last probably forever, so doing it just once would not be a big deal. Scott P.

| Maybe they'll take a page out of the book that IMS did with their 3.1 gallon and get with the program. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| I keep hearing rumors that the WR250R has been discontinued in the UK and the rest of Europe. They further indicate Australia may be next. Any truth to any of this. Though it doesn't do everything for everyone, it is a awesomely engineered light dual sport perfect for lightweight adventure riding. | |
