| Anyone up for some riding some time next month? I have a few sundays off, I'd like to get some dirt on the tires with some friends before everyone else hangs it up for the winter. I'm thinking about the C+D Canal roads, out and back to the coast on the 8th. Anyone interested? If I remember the roads correctly, they will be R and X friendly. Other than the enjoyment factor, I want to test a little theory of mine (or at least to make sure its not just in my head). I believe the motor gets stronger as it gets miles on it, I've got around 15,000 miles on mine and I swear its more powerful than it was new. I'd just like to get a feel for someone else's newer bike to see if my theory is true. | |

| This Fuzzy Beaver Ralley is going to be great & the camp ground has a good rep as being owned by a fellow rider. I am ever so in on this ride. May 1&2, plus a day or two. | |

| I would like to put together a dual sport ride around an area of Johnston County North Carolina.
There is a a road route that surrounds 25 miles of dirt roads around the Neuse River.
Would anyone been interested in such a ride?

| Well I saw this section doesn't get much traffic so I thought I would try and spice it up a bit.
My brother and I are heading to Tellico Plains, TN the weekend after March Moto Madness to do some riding and introduce two riders to DS riding.
The two riders are long time motorcyclists but I just getting started out on dirty side of things. He has a new African Twin and his wife is riding a new KTM 690 - they don't mess around.
I will be on my WR250R and my brother will be riding his nicely setup CRF250L.
We will be staying at the Cherohala Mountain Trails Campground ( https://www.cmtrails.com/ ) and will arrive probably early evening on 29MAR.
There may be a couple other folks heading out to join us but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
For the most part I think we will be sticking to the FS roads and just enjoying the scenery - figure this will be a good way to get them some experience without scaring them off. Overall I expect a pretty laid back weekend. | |
