Im working on some graphics kits - gimme some ideas!

Hey guys, I'm gonna be making some full decal kits for the WRX/R's and I wanted to see if you had any ideas of what you would want to put on your bike.

I'll be making a few different designs, so if you've seen some kits you like or have some ideas, please post them up!

Yeah if you have something in mind I can make it.

I like the older Yamaha stripes. Maybe with the Tuning Fork logo.
Of course I keep threatning to order a set of black skins and sending them out to be dipped in Mossey Oak. Maybe doing the retro stripes/tuning forks in OD over the camo.

+1 on the retro graphics. Here's a pic I did in MS Paint on motokid's bike of a design I thought would look cool

See the white plastics would lend itself really well to the old DT graphics kit that I would definitely go for.

Yeah I can make stripes like those. I'll mock something up...

I have a camo design inside the stripes that I'm currently putting together in cut vinyl (very tricky). If it doesn't hold up well, I may eventually want to get it made up in a printed, thicker set. Here are my two previous designs that some people asked about me making but it's just too tedious for me to want to sell and I'm not confident enough in them holding up to offer for sale. These were both made with multiple layers of cut vinyl.





This is my new graphic I'm working on that will go on my black plastics (replacing my yellow graphics that I took off) Please don't steal this idea yet. The others are pretty basic and I've seen others already do something very similar. Each color is layered vinyl.



As you can tell, I've just been making variations of my first design which I got the inspiration for from the Limited Edition Yellow WRR from Japan.

That's pretty cool. I can make them die cut already, and my vinyl guy can get all the schematics from my body panels so they can mount right on with no cutting.

I'm swapping over to white plastics so I'm just gonna give him my blue ones.

I think if you did some with professional sport teams logos that would be a HUGE hit. I've also seen some that were based on military focus such as a U. S. Navy design, USAF design, or others.

So do you guys have a large scale printer & cutter? Will they be on the thicker mil vinyl like most bike graphics? I got the basic shape for mine from a japan website that was selling full graphic kits for the WRR. I measured it all out and then cut it just a hair big to be on the safe side. I just have to trim the edges when I'm done. The actual design work is on a vinyl cutter one color at a time. The other downside is that it's more of a sign /car graphic vinyl that's nowhere near as thick as the printed bike graphics.
