| Installed a Safari tank, and a Sandman case saver. Maybe one day I will take a pic.
Next in random order will be heated grips, luggage of some sort, tankbag, new rubber, and removing that airbox thingy device.

| Not today, but from sunday riding in the Michaux Dual Sport. Got caught up on a log on the 9th option (C level), decided I didn't have a good pic of my bike in the woods with sumo wheels. | |

Here is the look of it now. I think it went a little too much with the stripes on but i think i like it more and more. Just shortened my fron fender by 3/4" or so. Just so U can notice it but just barely. Have bought a black fatbar also but im waiting for the other parts to come home before i can install it.

| I took off the original handlebar mounts today, preparing for the fatbar to be installed. But i must say those 17mm nuts for the mounts has a really tight a** postition....
I have ordered AIR handlebar mounts wich had a really low height compared to some other brands. But i dont know if they are 5mm offset as the originals.
Anyone tried the Renthal ones? I saw they had the 5mm offset but im not sure if they will fit. they were for yamaha 125-450 2004-06. seen on renthal.com

| Mounted that Fatbar today with mounts from "AIR" they had the 5mm offset as the original mounts have. But they were too low so i had to use some brackets to get them up about 5mm otherwise the bar hitted the forkbearingnut beneath..... Every other mount i have seen has been much higher so i wa surprised when this mount was so low.
The new bar was about 1cm wider but height and bending was about the same. Even this small change forced me to flip the throttlehandle to get more wire and reroute the electricwiring a bit but no big deal
The bike got a more agressive look now as the handlebar sits a bit lower and is a little bit wider. And you dont have that ugly stick in the middle.
While I was on it i changed sparkplug and checked the coil for cracks and so. Nothing to be found but the plug was black...

| And then someone hit it and drove off in the parking lot at work... so one of the new mirrors is cracked, throttle tube busted, and it needs handlebars / grips. Did I mention I hate humans? Front fender scuffed too (they side swiped it parking beside it, wheel was locked to the side). | |

| I made a "home made" silencer slideprotector. Made it of a piece of 8mm orange gas hose (used for trailers/ boats and camping equippment) and a steelwire. Cost: almost nothing... Looks: hmmm okay I guess ? But it looks kinda like a condom just sitting on the top of the...... or is it just my bad sence of humor..? | |

| Took the trail wings off and put a Michelin T63 on the front and a Pirelli MT21 on the back. These were on my XT225. Took the bike to a little mud hole that the trail wings had problems with - I need to push to get out. Stopped the bike in the mud and blasted out of it with the Pirelli . Next upgrade will be chain and sprockets. | |

| Mounted tool tube. Agri Supply tube, Jeg's stainless steel exhaust clamp, two 3/4" vinyl-coated loop clamps, and two 7/16"-14 nylock nuts. It was a bolt-on except for drilling the loop clamp holes to 7/16". No mods to frame or stock brackets, and I still have use of the helmet lock. | |

| Changed the front to a 12 and the rear to a 48 with a new o-ring chain. Will need to get a programmer or ??? to adjust the Speedo. I believe 100 km/h is now 80 km/h. Will need to run a test as my GPS watch did not seem to give consistent results. Less clutch work on the trails, but first still feels a bit tall. | |

| Wanted to go to the top of McNutt, now that the bike is geared lower, but ran into snow. Rode for about 2 km in the snow and got stuck on a hill about 1 km from the look-out over Gold creek on Alouette lake - Golden Ears Provincial Park, BC. The 12-48 gearing is much better for the trails here, might even go for a 52. I have also installed the 12 O'clock speedo unit. The bike can still hit 120 km/h, but it is screaming. | |
